Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens Tour

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens

In the shadow of Table Mountain, the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden is home to over 5000 indigenous plants.

Recommended all year round, but ESSENTIAL in August and September when the gardens are an explosion of colour.

This tour can be added to another half day adventure like Robben Island.   We can collect you at 9am and you can be back at the hotel (or dropped at the Waterfront) at 1pm or 130pm.

The Cape is the home of the unique Fynbos floral biome, the worlds smallest and richest floral kingdom (more plant species are found in the table mountain range than in the entire United Kingdom.

Visit Kirstenbosch as part of a half day city tour – ending at 1pm. This tour includes a tour of Table Mountain, OR a visit to the Jewish Museum, District Six Museum, The National Art Gallery or Greenmarket Square.

In summer (November – April), let us arrange a picnic for you – with champagne etc – for a summer concert in the Park. The concert is held every Sunday at 5pm. We will drive you there, and return you to your hotel (price dependent on where you are staying).

If time allows, we will stop at a winery in Constantia so you can enjoy a glass of good wine from a region so famous for wine-making……..
