This is for the romantics out there…….
In Summer, when the days are long, we suggest you take this half day tour which will allow you to get some amazing photographs when the light is “just right”.
Be warned though, that they don’t call us the Windy City for nothing so a light jacket or fleece is recommended. The wind can be cold because the ocean is…..well……FREEZING!
We suggest a collection time of 5pm in Summer.
We then head for drinks/Sparkling wine somewhere on the coast facing Camps Bay.
If time allows, we drive up to Signal Hill to catch the city bathed in pink, orange and yellow light, if the cirrus clouds are out.
Afterwards, we drive to Bloubergstrand where dinner reservations will be made for you at On The Rocks (fine dining) or Doodles (casual cafe, often with live music).
Watch the sun setting over Table Mountain and Robben Island.
Return to your hotel with some amazing memories and great photographs.
R2300 for the first 2 visitors plus R100pp for more than 2 in a group. 1-7 passengers.
Alternatively, if you wish to see the sun set over the city, from the ocean, catch one of the many boats leaving at 5pm or 6pm from the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, at Jetty 4.
Check weather conditions first though, because the sea can get really rough, and you wouldn’t want to get sick.
